Start with the substance and the law
Ask the organizer to name every substance involved and explain its legal status in the exact location. Cannabis legality does not make other controlled substances legal. Never transport cannabis across state lines.
Questions every guest should ask
- Who provides the experience, and what are their verifiable qualifications?
- What screening is used for health conditions, medications and mental-health risks?
- What product, serving size or dose is involved, and how is it labeled and tested?
- Who remains sober and responsible for emergencies?
- What is the consent, privacy, touch and cancellation policy?
- What transportation and aftercare plans are required?
Watch for red flags
Avoid anyone promising cures, guaranteeing transformation, concealing ingredients, pressuring participation, discouraging medical advice or blurring sexual and therapeutic boundaries.
What Kalisto House is—and is not
Kalisto House is cannabis-friendly lodging with optional hospitality and wellness experiences. It is not a medical clinic, detox facility, psychedelic center or substitute for professional treatment. Any currently available infused dining or cannabis-related offering should be discussed directly with the host.
